Seasoned anchor Pradeep Machiraju has turned a year older today (October 23). He has conquered a million hearts with his stint on TV. On his 38th birthday, here are a few interesting trivia about the famed TV host-turned-actor.

Pradeep Machiraju is a proud Hyderabadi. But he was born in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh. His father was a Chartered Accountant and realtor. He lost his father recently due to COVID-19.

Pradeep's elder sister Prapoorna Machiraju is married and settled in Florida, US. He has a niece and a nephew. Interestingly, Pradeep tweaked the popular rhyme 'Twinkle twinkle little star' and taught them, 'Twinkle twinkle little star, Pradeep mama superstar'.

Pradeep's nickname is 'Deepu'. Pradeep's dad and many of his close friends call him so while he is also called 'Kanna' at home.

The ace TV host has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a college in Hyderabad. After finishing B.Tech, Pradeep applied for MBA in a London university but eventually he dropped his abroad plans.

He sought a year's time from his father, got many photoshoots done and auditioned for acting opportunities. Pradeep's professional career kicked off with an event management firm before he got an opportunity as a Radio Jockey. However, 'Manorama' in 2009 featuring Charmi in the lead role was his first appearance on the silver screen.

Pradeep Machiraju is a famed anchor-TV host but not many know that he also participated in the dance reality show judged by choreographer Amma Rajasekhar and actress Sangeetha. Pradeep always believed that dance is not his cup of tea.

Interestingly, popular actor-BB Telugu season 2 host Nani, famed young producer Naga Vamsi and Pradeep are alumni of St. Alphonsa’s High School, Hyderabad. Pradeep was good at studies until his 10th standard and also active in cultural activities. He did his first stage performance in 3rd standard.

Pradeep has a tattoo along with a shape resembling the sun inked on his right hand wrist. He always wants to fly high yet stay grounded and make a strong comeback like an eagle.

Pradeep shares his birthday with none other than Baahubali actor Prabhas. He is nearly five years younger to him. Interestingly, actress Kajal Agarwal has been Pradeep's biggest crush for a long time.
