From Anasuya Bharadwaj to Ohmkar: Telugu celebs and their educational qualification

Many celebs have stepped into the showbiz world and made it big with sheer talent, passion and hardwork. Here's a quick look at some popular celebrities of the telly town and their lesser known educational qualifications. The list has celebrities who are college dropouts and also someone who were good at academics, too.

The ace anchor pursued Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from National Institute of Dental Sciences in Nizamabad until she got an opportunity for a popular Telugu film. She dropped out from college and went onto feature in many movies. She later forayed into TV and there was no looking back for her.

The ace TV host has obtained Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad.

She obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration. Anasuya began her career as a news presenter before she made the cut as a TV host with Jabardasth.

The ace comedian of Jabardasth fame completed his BTech from Prakasam Engineering College, Kandukur. He was a bright student at school and college as well.

Suma Kanakala, born into a Malayali family settled in Hyderabad, reportedly obtained a Master degree in Commerce. However, she pursued her interest in acting and later went onto become one of the most sought-after anchors in Telugu entertainment industry.

The dashing anchor also obtained his Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech). However, Ravi, in one of his earlier online interviews, revealed that he was a bankbencher and had almost 12 backlogs which he cleared towards the end of his under graduation.

Ohmkar was a trained physiotherapist until he made his foray into TV as a Video Jockey for a music show. He later went to rule TV with his reality show.

The vivacious anchor obtained her under graduate degree in Arts, Food and Nutrition in correspondence from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). She has been into dance and other co-curricular activities. Rashmi was rather focused on pursuing her acting dreams. After a noted stint in movies, she shot to fame with the comedy show, Jabardasth.
