Bigg Boss Telugu: From Geetu Royal to Tamanna Simhadri; most 'criticised' contestants in the TV series so far

Bigg Boss Telugu has hosted many personalities, who are unique in their own way. While a few succeeded to win a million hearts, a few failed in the due course and in turn earned a lot of negativity with their personality, behaviour and game play as well. Here's a look back at such contestants:

Geetu Royal aka Galatta Geetu, one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu season 6, got evicted from the reality TV show recently. Geetu was one of the most controversial contestants of this season. She earned negativity on social media for her out-of-the-rulebook tactics during the game. While she claimed it to be her unique personality and tactful gameplay, her performance has been mustering negativity since day one.

Her Rayalaseema accent, antics, personality and the way she misconstrued Bigg Boss' words during the task, disobeyed his instructions, refused to serve punishments, changed the rules in the name of strategies, provoked and played on the weakness of the contestants in the disguise of mind game hasn't gone well with the telly audiences and netizens as well.

In ETimes TV's recent poll, a majority of the respondents supported Geetu's eviction but a section of netizens want her back in the show.

Mithraw Sharma was one of the most peculiar contestants of the OTT edition, Bigg Boss Non-Stop. She earned negativity both inside and outside the BB house as well for her attitude, often secluded appearances, frequent emotional breakdowns, most criticised way of using tissue papers and other articles to communicate in the house et al. However, she managed to become a finalist of the season with the tag 'Shivangi Mithraw'.

She turned out to be one of the most aggressive contestants of the season and came across as a rude person for contestants like Priyanka Singh. She earned flak for using profane language in the nomination task. Uma Devi had her share of ugly fights with Priyanka, Anee, and others. Sweta lashed out at her for disrespecting Anee as well.

Right from his entry to his comments on Ravi, Nataraj was one of the most trolled contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu season 5. He was popular for his ‘lion and fox’ fables during the nomination tasks.

Nataraj also entered BB Non-Stop as one of the 'Challenger' contestants. He was one of the most trolled seasons of the season as well with his antics, ugly fights, emotional breakdowns and more. His ugly fights with Bindu Madhavi during the nomination task especially towards the end of the season created a lot of buzz on social media. Nataraj had an emotional outburst after a task over losing the chance to appeal for public vote was severely criticised on social media.

She was one of the most controversial contestants in the history of BB Telugu. The way she launched a personal attack on inmate Ravikrishna earned her immense negativity so much that she was soon voted out. She later apologised to Ravikrishna but her stint is remembered as the most controversial one.

She grabbed attention in season 2 within no time with her attitude, aggression, friendship with Samrat, Tanish and rivalry with Kaushal Manda. She soon earned negativity on social media and has been facing online abuse ever since. She was a part of the OTT edition Bigg Boss Non-Stop but with a mellowed down version of hers but nothing changed for her.

Controversies in the second season flagged off with Sanjanna Anne, one of the three commoner contestants. She was sent to jail within a few hours of her entry into the house. Sanjana alleged that she was jailed because of the 'Commoner-Celebrity' divide in the house. This did not go well with the netizens and she did not earn enough vote bank to survive in the show. Sanjana was the first contestant to be evicted from the house too.
