Bigg Boss Telugu 5 is inching towards its climax. The ongoing season is set to crown its winner on Sunday (December 19). Unlike the previous seasons, this fifth edition had over 19 contestants entering the house on the premiere day. Ahead of the grand finale, here's a look at some promising contestants who have disappointed fans.

This internet sensation, who is known for her adult content, was the first contestant to get evicted from the show. She had her share of arguments during the nomination task and other weekly tasks leaving fans wanting more from her. However, Sarayu got eliminated in the very first week.

This controversial content has taken the contestants and fans by surprise with her ugly fights with Priyanka Singh, Anee, and others in the house. Her close rapport and fun love track with Lobo showed some promise but the damage was already done. Uma was criticised for being loud and using profane language in the house. She hasn't promised any change and her eviction seemed inevitable.

Sweta, who promised aggression and entertainment on the premiere night, couldn't last long in the house. She proved to be one of the most promising and aggressive contestants of the season though. Her aggressive gameplay in the tasks and loyal friendship with Anee and Sunny could have changed the dynamics in the house but she got evicted from the show.

Ace choreographer Anee has a reputation in the industry. Bigg Boss fans were expected to leave a lasting impact like her colleagues Baba Bhaskar and Amma Rajasekhar in the previous seasons. She proved to be a promising contestant and survived in the house for more than 75 days but couldn't manage to make it into the finale as expected. Giving up in the captaincy task, allegations of groupism, fights with Kajal and others played a key role in her eviction which left her admirers disappointed.

Lobo, who scored brownie points as an entertainer in the house, eventually lost it. He was given a second chance through a fake eviction sequence. He was sent to the secret room and was expected to turn the game around upon his comeback into the house. But Lobo couldn't measure up to the expectations of fans.

Lahari Shari managed to grab attention with her glam quotient, dispute with Kajal, and other petty fights within no time. However, Priya's allegations of an intimate moment with Ravi during the third nomination task altered her fate in the game. This ugly fight eventually led to her eviction. She was expected to make a wild card reentry in the house which never happened.

The popular anchor was one of the most promising contestants and an expected finalist, too. However, he earned the tag of being an 'influencer' in the house and huge negativity on social media. He got evicted from the show ahead of his arch-rival Kajal leaving his fans upset.
