10 Highlights of Nani's Bigg Boss Telugu 2

Nani's Bigg Boss Telugu 2 has come to an end. From zero expectations to one of the most entertaining reality shows on Telugu TV, the second edition of Bigg Boss Telugu has come a long way battling criticism right from the selection of the contestants to the entertainment quotient. With a few hours to go for the grand finale, here's a quick glance at the 10 highlights of this season.

#NaniUnfitasBBhost & Kaushal Army 2K run

The online fan frenzy reached new heights when Kaushal Army, the self-proclaimed online fan community of Kaushal, for the first time ever in the history of Bigg Boss, conducted 2K and 5K rallies in cities like Hyderabad and Vijayawada to prove they are not "bots". Finding Nani roasting Kaushal in one of the episodes, the online fan club even trended the hashtag #NaniUnfitasBBhost, a first-of-its-kind trend in social media. As per inside sources, even Nani was concerned about this online trend that affected his image and movie releases as well.

Sanjanna Anne's jail episode

Sanjanna Anne, who is one of the three commoner contestants in the second edition of Bigg Boss Telugu, was sent to jail within few hours of her entry into the house. Sanjana alleged that there was a 'Commoner-Celebrity' divide in the house. She was the first contestant to be evicted from the house too. Sanjana was indeed the first sensation of this season.

3/10

Rebellious Babu Gogineni

Controversial human rights activist Babu Gogineni earned the tag of "Bigger Boss" in the house with his rational thinking and rebellious attitude. Within just few days of the stay, Babu Gogineni found fault with Bigg Boss and even addressed him saying, "Raara Bigg Boss kindaki... (come down Bigg Boss)". This raised many eyebrows in the Bigg Boss fan world.

Kireeti vs Kaushal - The Birth of 'Kaushal Army'

'Kaushal Army', a self-proclaimed fan community of Kaushal, is quite popular in the Bigg Boss fandom. As per inside sources, Kaushal was supposed to get evicted in the third week of the season. However, Kireeti Damaraju's controversial act shot Kaushal to fame which in turn resulted in the birth of Kaushal Army.

5/10

Bhanu vs Kaushal - The Rise of Kaushal and Geetha

In the Good vs Evil task, the spat between Kaushal and Bhanu Sri backed by Tejaswi Madivada witnessed the rise of Kaushal (who gained sympathy out of the episode) and Geetha (who announced her presence in the show).

6/10

Kaushal and Nutan Naidu vs Group-ism

The fight between Nutan Naidu backed by Kaushal and Tanish, Samrat and Tejaswi has triggered allegations of group-ism which Nani tried to address later. However, Nutan Naidu and Kaushal gained maximum mileage out of this episode. Nutan Naidu even enjoyed a re-entry into the house.

7/10

Tejaswi-Samrat - the most celebrated couple

The journey of Bigg Boss Telugu 2 would be incomplete without the mention of Tejaswi and Samrat. They are the most celebrated couple in the house this season. The two bonded well in the house; thanks to the 'Desperate Girls and Lover Boys' task. The two have the highest regards and special place for each other in their hearts. Tejaswi's stay and eviction played a vital role in the performance of Samrat.

8/10

Kamal Haasan's visit - Extension to Amit

It was the most surprising event in the entire season after Amit removed his wig. Legendary actor Kamal Hassan paid a visit to the Bigg Boss house as a part of his film promotion and gifted a two week extension card to Amit, a non-Telugu contestant striving hard to make his presence felt in the show. This boosted his survival in the house.

9/10

Geetha's victory turns a big blow to Kaushal

The 'Murder Mystery' task proves that Geetha Madhuri is a beauty with brains. She not only outwitted the best gamers in the lot but also treated Kaushal with a jolt by nominating him for the rest of the season. Post that, Kaushal had to battle eviction every week.

10/10

Family Reunion

The house ran high in emotion when the respective family members of the housemates visited the house. The inmates who saw their family members after nearly 93 days during the Freeze-Release task broke down instantly. They were indeed happy for each other. The extremely heart-warming episodes indeed acted as a morale boost for the contestants.
