Legendary singer Asha Bhosle is celebrating her birthday today (September 8). Asha Ji’s family members and close friends made special arrangements to celebrate the day. Millions of her fans have wished the living legend on her birthday.

In one of the episodes of Super Singer season 4, a special program was held as a tribute to Asha Bhosle. Sonia sang the evergreen song Shenbagamae Shenbagamae from the movie Enga Ooru Pattukaran, which was originally sung by Asha ji herself. The ace singer was impressed by Sonia's performance and gifted a guitar to her. Not only that, Asha Ji also sang the song and made the occasion more memorable for Sonia. She feels to be blessed as she got the opportunity to perform with the Asha Ji. Judges Unnikrishnan, Sujatha Mohan, Srinivas and Mano also showered praises on Sonia after the said performance.
