Season 1 and 2 of the cookery show Cooku with Comalis have been a runaway hit.

Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan made his acting debut with the show ‘Office’. He later went on to feature in shows like Ninaika Therintha Manamae, Rettai Vaal Kuruvi and Raja Rani (Telugu show). But, Ashwin's participation in the cookery show Cooku with Comalis 2 (CWC 2) got him close to the masses. Ashwin soon got an opportunity to feature in a movie in the lead role. As per the latest reports, he has three movies in his kitty now.

Sivaangi Krish comes from a family of musicians. She is the daughter of Binni and Krishnakumar. Super Singer season 7 marked the TV debut of Sivaangi. But, she won a million hearts with her innocence, singing talent, and sense of humor in CWC 2. Singer Sivaangi has recorded a music album and has got more plum offers. Above all, she is making her filmy debut with the film Don featuring Siva Karthikeyan.

Dharsha Gupta has won many hearts with her performance in the shows Senthoora Poove, Mullum Malarum and Minnale. She is also making her foray into movies with Rudra Thandavam. She is awaiting the official announcement of a few more projects.

Pavithra Lakshmi is known for her performances in the shows Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva and Maanada Mayilada. The show Cooku with Comalis season 2 took her close to the telly audiences. She is prepping to make her silver screen debut with a movie featuring Sathish. Her Mollywood debut is also on cards.

Venkatesh Bhat is a highly qualified chef and was the co-judge of Cooku with Comalis season 1 and 2. With the fame gained through the show, Venkatesh Bhat was roped in as the co-judge of the Cooku with Kirukku (Kannada version of the cookery show Cooku with Comalis).

Sarath aka Sarath Raj is popular as KPY Sarath; due credits to his appearance in the show Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru (KPY). Sarath’s popularity increased with his stint in Cooku with Comalis. He went on to feature in the reality show Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai season 3 along with his wife krithika_krish. He has bagged a few movie offers, too.

Dheepa is known for her performances in Kadaikutty Singam and Cooku with Comalus 2. She will soon be seen in the film ‘Doctor’ in the near future. Dheepa along with her hubby Shankar are now contestants of the show Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai season 3.
