Bigg Boss Tamil 4: From major fights between Balaji Murugadoss and Sanam Shetty to Kamal Haasan's stern warning to contestants, major controversies of the season

Bigg Boss Tamil 4 is set to conclude on January 17 (Sunday) with a grand finale. Ahead of the grand finale, here’s a look at major controversies of this season.

Balaji Murugadoss, who is the winner of Mr. India, ridiculed Sanam Shetty’s 'Miss South India' title. Balaji described it as ‘Dubakur’ (fake one). This turned into a huge fight between them. On another occasion, Balaji called Sanam ‘Dardhalai’ (useless). They shared a rocky relationship in the show.

During the Ayudha Pooja celebrations, Suresh Chakravarthy used the word ‘Sumangali’ to address the female contestants. Anitha objected to this adding that his remarks are disrespectful. Suresh got offended by Anitha's objection which led to a rift between them.

In the Demons vs Royal members task, Suresh Chakravarthy has hit Sanam Shetty on the head with a sceptre. Though Suresh claimed that he didn’t do it intentionally, this turned into a big fight between them. Even Sanam addressed Suresh in a disrespectful manner during the fight. A disheartened Suresh broke down in the confession room and even requested Bigg Boss to send him out of the show.

Host Kamal Haasan schooled Samyuktha Karthik against passing a comment like 'Valarppu seri illa (upbringing isn't proper) referring to Aari Arjuna. Kamal opined that such remarks could hurt the sentiments of their family members as well and asked her to refrain from repeating such mistakes.

Archana Chandhoke was given a stern warning by host Kamal Haasan for conversing with Som Sekhar and Shivani Narayanan by switching off her mic. Kamal told Archana that such violations can even lead to eviction from the show.

Host Kamal lashed out at Ramya Pandian for her stance against Aari Arjuna. He believed that she didn't let Aari alone voice his opinions which led to many fights in the house.

Balaji and Aari ended up in major fights. A few days ago, Aari addressed Balaji as ‘Somberi’ (lazy goose) as he didn’t perform the household chores as expected. Balaji got angry with Aari and even threw his mic on the bed. Balaji even called Aari a ‘fool’ and ‘idiot’.

Archana Chandhoke along with her besties Rio Raj, Som Shekar, Gabriella Charlton, Aranthangi Nisha, Jithan Ramesh and Velmurugan formed a group and named it the 'love bed group'. They were accused of nominating contestants against them, saving the members of their group during the tasks, selecting best and worst performers of their choice. Kamal warned them of eviction if they continued to do so.
