Marathi TV actress Kalyani Kurale Jadhav died in a road accident Saturday near the Halondi intersection on the Sangli-Kolhapur highway. The 32-year-old actor was on her way home on a motorcycle when the accident took place. Kalyani's motorcycle was hit by a dumper truck on the highway. She was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
As per the police statement, an FIR has been registered on the truck driver under IPC sections 304, 338 and other sections of the Motor Vehicles Act, as per the Police's official statement.
Kalyani opened a restaurant in Kolhapur Halondi phata a few days ago and used to travel from home to the restaurant on an everyday basis to handle work there and host the guests. Kalyani used to manage both her business and shooting together. Kalyani had also celebrated her birthday a week ago in the same restaurant and shared a video on Instagram.
On the work front, Kalyani Kurale Jadhav was last seen in the Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba and Tujhya Jeev Rangla TV shows. She also played various pivotal roles in TV shows and daily soaps. She also played small roles in plays and dramas.
Kalyani also had an interest in cooking and hence she decided to open her restaurant in Kolhapur. Kalyani was basically from Kolhapur and completed her education in the same city.
