Friendship Day Special: These Marathi TV shows taught the real meaning of friendship

Friendship day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. It is the day to celebrate the most special bond of life. On this Friendship Day, let’s take a look at the TV series that taught us the real meaning of the word ‘friendship’.

2/7

Dil Dosti Duniyadari

The storyline of this series revolved around 6 strangers who start staying together and eventually, become BFFs. The series became so popular that the makers also launched its season 2. Actors Amey Wagh, Suvrat Joshi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Sakhee Gokhale, Swanand Tikekar and Pooja Thombare hogged the limelight with this show.

3/7

Dil Dosti Dobara

Though it was the season 2 of Dil Dosti Duniyadari, the two shows had no connection in terms of storyline. The only thing common between the two series was the star cast. The story revolved around how 6 friends come together and start a new restaurant.

4/7

Bigg Boss Marathi

Though Bigg Boss is considered as one of the most controversial shows, it also has set some examples of true friendship. Megha Dhade, Sai Lokur, and Pushkar Jog proved that the bond of friendship is unbreakable. The trio still meets each other to celebrate different occasions.

5/7

Phulpakharu

The show Phulpakharu is not just about Manas and Vaidehi’s love story but also about their friendship with their college gang. From bunking the college lectures to a college picnic the show makes you nostalgic about the college friendship.

6/7

Freshers

It was a story of seven friends who start their journey of the first year of college together. Though they all come from different family backgrounds and with different dreams and ambitions, they all set an example of unbreakable friendship.

7/7

De Dhamal

In the early 2000, this show taught us that the special bond of friendship starts in the childhood days. The show's cast included many popular names like Spruha Joshi, Priya Bapat, Anurag Worlikar, who all were child artists in this serial.
