Comeback on TV after 12 years

Talking about making her comeback on Marathi TV with Tumchi Mulgi Kay Karte, Madhura Welankar said, "I often say that I would love to work in TV shows which I love to watch. The subject of a serial really matters to me. I am playing a character which has many shades. I am so happy that the subject of the show is really different. I had already decided that if I am making a comeback after 12 years then there should be a solid subject which people haven't seen and that's what happened"

Leaving my son behind was hard

Madhura's comeback was not easy as she had to sacrifice her company with her son and family after a long time. She said, "Frankly, my first month did not go well. I could not give time to my son and my husband. I was not well prepared to leave my people, my son behind and focusing here on the set was hard. But yes now it has become a routine."

Love for crime thrillers

Process of TV

Thanking husband on Women's day

I am in shoot for 15 hours. I feel our family support matters the most. I could not do this TV show without the support of my husband. He is the one who handles everything. Today, on the occasion of women's day I want to tell everyone that a woman is working outside today because there is a man who is playing both the roles of a husband and a wife at home. He is supporting me and handling everything in my absence. I am thankful to him. (PC - Instagram)
