As the norms to shoot film and TV shows are being relaxed, more new TV shows are being introduced. Recently introduced new shows are keeping audience glued to TV. Here's a quick look at a few Marathi TV shows like 'Sundara Manamadhye Bharali', 'Aai Majhi Kalubai', 'Mulgi Zali Ho', 'Devmanus' among others which are bringing unique story lines for telly audience.
Devmanus
'Devmanus' is a murder mystery featuring actor Kiran Gaikwad. In the show Kiran who is a doctor pretends to help people. However, he is a serial killer who is on murder spree. 'Devmanus' also features Shivanee Ghatage as a patient. Earlier Kiran has played a negative role in serial ‘Lagir Zal Ji’. During lockdown he was seen in the show ‘Total Hublak’
Sundara Mana Madhe Bharali
The show revolves around a character Latika, a very warm-hearted girl filled with optimism. A perfect daughter, sister, and a friend. Even though her life looks ideal, she faces hurdles just because she is ‘overweight’. She faces several rejections for marriage alliances. The show aims to break stereotypes surrounding overweight women.
Aai Majhi Kalubai
Alka Kubal who grabbed everyone's attention with the Marathi film 'Maherchi Sadi' has made comeback on TV after a long time with this serial. The show also features Prajakta Gaikwad who was earlier seen playing character Maratha queen Maharani Yesubai in the show ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji’. Prajakta is playing Aarya, a lead character in show 'Aai Majhi Kalubai.'
Fulala Sugandh Maticha
The show features Harshad Atkari and Samruddhi Kelkar. This show is a remake of the popular Hindi show ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’. The storyline revolves around a well-educated girl and a sweet shop owner who passed class VIII. His mother doesn't want him to marry an educated girl. It's going to be interesting to watch how the two will meet and fall in love with each other.
Mulgi Zali Ho
The show revolves around unwanted girl child Mau who struggles for love and acceptance from family that desperately wanted a boy. Actress Shravani Pillai is essaying the lead role of a mother who raises her daughter in spite of opposition from her family. The serial also features 'Mazhya Navryachi Bayko' fame Kiran Mane and veteran actress Savita Malpekar who will be seen essaying negative role.
