Bigg Boss Marathi 3 host Mahesh Manjrekar: I am not the decision-maker in the show; people think that I do everything but it's not like that

Bigg Boss Marathi season 3 is currently in its final stage. The show is all set to conclude on 26 December 2021. As the show is about the wrap-up, the host, Mahesh Manjrekar, decided to go LIVE on Instagram and chat with his fans. Talking about the recent re-entries in Bigg Boss Marathi 3 Adish Vaidya, Sneha Wagh, and Trupti Desai, Mahesh said he did not know that the trio would re-enter the house. He said, "Even I did not know Sneha Wagh, Trupti Desai, and Adish Vaidya were about to re-enter the house. I was surprised, too, just like the audience. People always think that everything is in my hands, but that's not the case. I don't know anything that happens during the weekdays. The show producers and directors know everything. I am just the host of the show for weekends."

Mahesh further clarified and said that people always think that he is the decision-maker in the show, and he decides everything but that's not the case. He said, "I am hosting Bigg Boss Marathi. I am a viewer first. I just watch the show, analyze and share my opinions on weekends. Who will enter the house as a wild card? Who will get evicted? I have no idea of anything. I only host the show on weekends and only analyze what happens during the week. I have nothing to do with the running show. People think that I do everything but it's not like that."

Mahesh also informed the show and his fans on social media that everything depends on the votes. Mahesh stated, "I just want to clear everyone that when a contestant gets eliminated from the show or gets saved in the show is only by getting the votes. Everything depends on the votes."

The host later spoke about getting blamed for eviction and saving contestants in the house. The host elaborated, "People think that Mahesh Manjrekar selects the wild card entry and decides the nomination. They also say that I eliminate and save the contestants, but I want to clarify that nothing is in my hands. When a good player gets evicted, I equally get surprised like the audience. I would have thrown out many contestants if there was anything in my hands".

The show host further said in the live session that many things get cut and edited due to the time restrictions of the show. He said, "I want to clarify one more thing here. I clear each topic in the weekend Chavadi episode. There are directors and editors in the show who edit weekend episodes. Due to the time limitation, they have to conduct everything in the 1.5-hour episode. What to get air and what not is also not in my hands."

Mahesh advised a few things to the housemates and said that the contestants should not fight like their fight would lead to a major injury. He said, "I want the housemates to play the game with a proper plan. The contestants should play safely, and there should not be a major injury. Sometimes, I want to go inside the house and slam the contestants but nothing is in my hands. I have no control over the show."

Mahesh later thanked his fans, the show's viewers, for showering so much love on his hosting. Mahesh Manjrekar said, "I am thankful to the audience for showering so much love. I am glad that this season is on top of the TRP charts and got an outstanding response. No one is my favorite in the house. My favorites change every day. There are five finalists in my mind, but I can't reveal them now (He laughs).
