Bigg Boss Marathi 2: From the host to the set-location, all you need to know about the upcoming season

After the success of the debut season of Bigg Boss Marathi, it is gearing up for the new season. The show is making abuzz right after the first teaser went on-air. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming season...

Just like the Hindi Bigg Boss, the previous season of Bigg Boss Marathi was also shot in Lonavla. But, the sources close to TimesofIndia.com have confirmed that the upcoming season of the show will be shot in Mumbai. And the set is also being prepared in the Goregaon Filmcity.

The first season of Bigg Boss Marathi was hosted by the veteran director-cum-actor Mahesh Manjrekar aka the ‘Big’ Boss of the Marathi entertainment industry. And now the second season will be hosted by none other than Mahesh himself.

Last year, the show went on-air on 15th April, but this time the makers are yet to finalise the launch date because of the elections. According to the sources, the makers have proposed April 14 and April 21 as launch dates but the team is still working on it.

While exclusively talking to TimesofIndia.com, the Mazhya Navryachi Bayko fame Rasika Sunil revealed that she has been approached for the show. Rumours are rife that Milind Shinde aka Tambde Baba of the Marathi TV has been approached too. But when asked about his entry, the actor laughed and refused to comment anything. (Photo: Instagram)

The show Radha Prem Rangi Rangali will off-air soon. Sources suggest that the lead cast of Radha Prem Rangi Rangali viz. Akshaya Gurav, Veena Jagtap, Archana Nipankar, Shailesh Datar, Gautam Joglekar might be seen in Bigg Boss Marathi 2. (Photo: Instagram)
