Bigg Boss Marathi 2: From Rasika Sunil to Surekha Punekar, here’s the tentative list of contestants

After the superhit debut season of Bigg Boss Marathi, the controversial show is all set for its Season 2. It was exclusively reported earlier by TimesofIndia.com, the show is set to go on-air from 26th May. The shoot for the premiere night will be starting from May 24. Also, we revealed that the set of Bigg Boss Marathi 2 has been shifted to Goregaon Filmcity, Mumbai this year. Mazhya Navryachi Bayko fame Rasika Sunil aka Shanaya is the first probable name who can be seen in the show this year. When TimesofIndia.com had spoken to the actress, Rasika said she has been approached by the channel team.(Photo: Instagram)

The second promo released by the channel team featured an entry of a Lavani Queen. When it comes to Lavani, the one name that comes to our mind is of Surekha Punekar. As reported earlier, there are chances of Surekha Punekar entering the Bigg Boss Marathi 2 house.(Photo: Facebook)

Sources close to the show have exclusively revealed to TimesofIndia.com that Abhijeet Bichukale will be a part of the Season 2. Interestingly, this Satara based politician is popularly referred by his friends as ‘Kavi Manache Nete’ (a leader with a poetic heart) and the first promo of the show too has the same line. Host Mahesh Manjrekar says, “He Kavi Manache Nete Hotil Ka Bigg Boss Che Vijete” which means 'will the leader with a poetic heart become the winner of Bigg Boss?’(Photo: Instagram)

Actress Ketaki is said to enter the show - but it is not sure out of Ketaki Chitale and Ketaki Mategaonkar - who will be a part of season 2. Ketaki Chitale was recently in news for getting ousted from the show Lakshmi Sadaiva Mangalam. And when we tried to contact the actress on her entry in Bigg Boss Marathi 2, she said that she was approached by the channel team. But at the same time, Ketaki also said that she finds the show's concept very weird and she can’t see herself in the Bigg Boss house.
