Chandran seems to be upset. He is seen playing harmonium. Amma tries to console him. She blames Anu to be the reason behind all of these. Amma also suggests him not to spoil this opportunity by listening to her arguments.
Nirmala overhears the conversation and says that she is happy that Anu had argued with Padmini.
Chandran says that he will find some way to earn for his family. He also says that his family doesn't want any favour from Mohan.
On the other side, Padmini calls her dad and informs that their plan has succeeded.
Rukmini
overhears the conversation and corrects her that their plan was a failure. She says that now Anu has become quite adamant and Chandran has decided to earn for his living.
Rukmini suspects Mahi (Padmini's ex-lover) is the one, who sent Anu to the family. Padmini panics after hearing the same. Both decide to meet Anu and ask about this.
Padmini questions Anu about her intention of being in the house. Anu gives provocative answers and Padmini gets furious.
Padmini provokes Anu by commenting about her mother. Anu argues that she is born to a renowned singer. She starts questioning her but Nirmala interrupts.
Nirmala warns Padmini not to trouble Anu anymore. She criticises Padmini for all the selfish acts she has done.
Nirmala appreciates Anu for her bold attitude towards Padmini. She also suggests her to be strong and never get afraid of Padmini and Rukmini.
Anu seeks Nirmala's permission to join in Vinod's orchestra once again. Nirmala agrees to ask Chandran and Mohan about this.
