Santhwanam tops the TRP charts; here's a look at the top 5 TV shows

The latest TRP ratings have got big news for 'Santhwanam' fans. The Chippy Renjith and Rajeev Parameshwar starrer has grabbed the numero uno spot leaving 'Kudumbavilakku' behind. Here are the top five shows on Malayalam TV.

Avantika Mohan and Sandra starrer, 'Thoovalsparsham' continues to be in the 5th position. The show is currently showcasing Sreya's search for her long-lost sister Malu.

Mounaragam also manages to sustain the 4th spot in the rating charts. The show recently showcased an unexpected twist of Vikaram losing his speech ability due to a road accident. Notably, this accident was Prakashan's plan to kill Kalyani, which backfired.

Ammayariyathe is listed in the third spot on the TRP chart. The Sreethu Krishnan and Nikhil Nair starrer enjoys a huge fan following for the striking chemistry of the lead actors.

Kudumbavilakku has slipped to the second spot now. The show featuring Meera Vasudev and KK Menon in the lead roles currently progresses with Sumithra falling prey to Vedhika's wicked plan.

It is for the first time after the brief break, which occurred due to the second lockdown, that 'Santhwanam' show has grabbed the first position. Currently, the show is showcasing misunderstandings between lead couple Shivan and Anjali. However, this seems to have struck a code with the audience. Also, the show had recently completed one year of successful run, too.
