The popular show 'Amma' went off-air completing 1008 episodes. The show which portrayed the life of an orphan girl, who is in search of her mother, had Sharath, Sreekala Sasidharan, Maya Viswanath, Gouri Krishnan in the lead. The acting prowess of child actress Malavika Manikuttan, who donned the titular character Chinnu, was much appreciated then.
