Kailasanathan to Nandini: Dubbed serials that captivated the Malayali audience

Malayalam TV has many soap operas to entertain the viewers. From mythological serials to romantic tales, it has got everything to attract them to the TV screens. However, there are some other language shows that became a sensation on Malayalam TV in the past, Take a look.

Starring Sumedh Madgalkar and Mallika Singh, RadhaKrishn aka Kannante Radha also received a huge acceptance among the Malayali audience. Thanks to the apt dubbing, the show is still loved by the telly audience.

The sensational hit Hindi show 'Beyhadh', had its dubbed version called 'Premam' in Malayalam. The romantic drama starring Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon managed to grab eyeballs amidst many Malayalam shows.

Saurabh Raj Jain as Shri Krishna, Shaheer Sheikh as Arjun, Pooja Sharma as Draupadi, the epic show 'Mahabharatham' was also accepted by Malayali audience. Notably, the same show had a rerun during the pandemic too.

Not just in Hindi, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? was a huge hit in Malayalam too. The series was titled 'Mounam Sammatham' in Malayalam. Khushi and Arnav's love-hate relationship inspired many love stories in Malayalam too.

The Malayalam dubbed version of Naagin, 'Naagakanya' is also popular among Malayali audiences. The show managed to grab attention over the last four seasons too.

Starring Malavika Wales, Nithya Ram, and Rahul, the Tamil fantasy thriller, 'Nandini' was not only a hit in Tamil Nadu but also in Kerala too. The show had a successful run for over two years in Malayalam.

Nakul Mehta and Nitanshi Goel's 'Ishqbaaz' was also dubbed into Malayalam as 'Priyamanasam'. The romantic drama was telecast during evening slots and it had a decent fan base.

The Malayalam dubbed version of the Hindi serial, ' Devon Ke Dev Mahadev' is still one of the favorite mythological series on Malayalam TV. Starring Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy, the show had a huge fan following in Kerala.
