From Theft Allegations to Ganja Case Summons: Times when Bigg Boss Malayalam 6 winner Jinto courted controversy

Bodybuilder and Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 winner Jinto has once again made headlines, this time for a theft case filed against him by a woman. However, this isn’t the first time the reality TV star has been embroiled in controversy. From his time inside the Bigg Boss house to recent criminal investigations, Jinto has frequently found himself in hot water. Here's a look at the most talked-about controversies involving him:

Inside the Bigg Boss House

Jinto’s controversial streak began during his time as a contestant. He drew widespread criticism for misogynistic remarks, uncivil behavior, and frequent use of offensive language. Things escalated to the point where he and fellow contestant Gabri Jose were almost expelled from the show due to repeated violations of house rules.

Summoned in Hybrid Ganja Case

Earlier this year, Jinto and a film crew member, Joshy, were summoned by the Excise Department in Alappuzha in connection with the hybrid ganja smuggling case. Authorities alleged that Jinto had financial dealings with Tasleema, the prime accused, just 10 days before her arrest. Jinto, however, claimed the transactions were related to a fashion show discussion, distancing himself from the drug racket.

Allegations from Fellow Contestants

Post his Bigg Boss win, former housemates Sijo Thomas and Sai Krishnan publicly accused Jinto of misconduct. According to them, he allegedly lured aspiring models and actresses with false promises of film roles, even claiming he could secure them entry into the Bigg Boss house.

Latest Trouble: Theft Case

In the latest controversy, a woman has filed a theft complaint against Jinto at the Palarivattom Police Station. She claims that Jinto broke into a gym—which she had leased from him—vandalized CCTV cameras, and stole ₹10,000 in cash along with important documents. The complaint reportedly includes CCTV footage showing Jinto entering the premises without permission. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
