The Malayalam TV industry experienced profound losses in 2023 as it bid farewell to some of its talented stars. Actor Kailas Nath, who was much-loved for his character Pillai Chettan in 'Santhwanam' passed away in August. The 65-year-old, who was undergoing treatments for non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis for a couple of years, breathed his last in Kochi.
