Bigg Boss Malayalam 4: From sharing a strong bond with Sooraj to his hat-trick in captaincy; here is a look at Akhil's journey

Comedian and Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 contestant Kutty Akhil aka Akhil Nair got evicted from the show recently. From his sportsman spirit to his strong bond with inmates, he was indeed a strong contestant. Here is a look at his eventful journey in the BB house.

Akhil surprised the contestants as well as the audience with his stance against Robin's allegation of being targeted in the house. In one of the initial episodes, Robin called for a special meeting and addressed the housemates. He questioned whether some of the housemates are targeting him. As a reply to this, Akhil addressed the housemates and requested Bigg Boss not to skip this part from being aired.

"We all understood Robin's play to be seen as the victim here. He is trying to portray that he is alone here and everyone else is against him. He is trying to gain sympathy and win viewers'hearts. We have seen this game plan earlier in the show and we are not encouraging it here," Akhil clarified.

Akhil's bond with Sooraj was much celebrated by fans. With their rib-tickling counters and motivating each other during the game, the duo cherished their bromance well. Even during the interaction with host Mohanlal, Akhil shared that he wishes to see Sooraj lifting the trophy.

Undoubtedly, this was Akhil's best performance in the show. During the 'Bigg Boss resort' task, Akhil played the character of a witty yet strict retired Army officer and his funny interactions with contestants are still making rounds.

During the task 'Katta Waiting', Akhil was seen locking horns with Robin. He alleged that Robin had physically attacked him and this led to a huge brawl. Akhil was also seen losing his calm during the recent coin task.

Akhil was the one and the only contestant who managed to win captaincy three times in the season. However, he gave his captaincy to Sooraj before leaving the house.

Akhil's bond with Suchithra was also much loved by fans. Their cute fights about Akhil's smoking habit to their comedy skits together were celebrated by viewers. Also, he was seen shattered when Suchithra left the house.

Just like host Mohanlal said, Akhil was one of the strongest contenders in the show. He was much liked for expressing his viewpoints without any hesitance. The contestant was also praised for his game spirit.
