Social media influencer Riyas Salim entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 as a wildcard contestant. Even though the contestant earned flak for his performance in the house initially, he is being hailed as one of the best in the lot by BB fans lately. From his attitude to his exceptional performance, Riyas became a sensation almost overnight. Here is a look at his journey so far.

​Wildcard entry

The social media influencer entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 on the 42nd day as a wild card contestant. Even before his entry, he created a buzz in the house by calling Lakshmi Priya as an 'easy target'.

​Open fight with Robin

Soon after his entry into Bigg Boss, Riyas was seen having a huge argument with Robin Radhakrishnan. Riyas had ugly fights with Robin for his alleged ‘toxic’ behaviour.

​Talking against 'love triangle'

Riyas also criticized Robin, Blesslee, and Dilsha for playing a 'love triangle' in the house. He criticised that the contestants ‘don't have any existence on their own’ and hence they are ‘following a love track’ to ‘survive’ in the game.

​Physically assaulted by Robin

During a task, Robin reportedly hit Riyas on the face and was sent to the secret room later for the offense. Riyas was adamant that Robin should be sent out of the house for violating the rule.

​Educating inmates about LGBTQIA+

Riyas has won laurels for educating his co-contestants about LGBTQIA+ inside the house. During the call center task, Riyas was seen explaining every term to the inmates and the same video is still doing the rounds on social media. He also raised his voice against the alleged ‘homophobic’ comments on some of the inmates too.

​Disputes with Lakshmi Priya

Riyas was seen having huge arguments with inmate Lakshmi Priya. The duo was seen engaging in verbal spats over their difference of opinion and performance in the house.

​Hilarious imitation of Lakshmi Priya

However, Riyas left everyone in splits with his hilarious imitation of Lakshmi Priya. In the 'Aalmarattam' task, he portrayed Lakshmi's character. From Lakshmi's signature mannerisms to postures, Riyas just nailed it.
