75 days of Bigg Boss Malayalam 4: Here are some major events from the journey so far

Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 has successfully completed the 75 days milestone and the biggest reality show is inching to the grand finale. From the surprise entry of ace actor Kamal Haasan to be unexpected exits of two contestants, the show is progressing with twists and turns. Here is a look back at the major events of the show so far.

The show had a grand opening on March 27. 17 contestants from different walks of life entered the show and the unique list of participants surprised the viewers too. From TV actors to representatives from the LGBTQ community; the contestant list is interesting. The makers surely lived up to the tag line 'The New Normal'.

The show kickstarted with some shocking revelations from contestants. Be it Aswin coming out as gay or Nimisha talking about her abusive parents, the initial episodes were full of surprises for the fans.

For the first time in the show, an evicted contestant had entered the secret room in the house. Nimisha was given a chance to re-enter the house after spending a couple of days in the secret room.

The show had three wildcard entries so far. Malayalam teacher Manikandan, social media influencer Riyas Salim and hotelier Vinay. Even though Manikandan was disappointed by his exit due to health issues, Riyas had made a huge buzz in the house ever since his entry.

The season had some interesting tasks which tested the physical as well as mental strength of the contestants. However, the weekly tasks like the one, which made the contestants win back basic amenities, failed to impress the audience.

The show, which was hailed for featuring an interesting choice of contestants, received much criticism after some of the much-expected contestants left fans all 'disappointed' as the days progressed. Be it actress Suchithra Nair or social media influencer Aparana Mulberry, the contestants failed to meet the audiences' expectations.

What is Bigg Boss without fights? However, some of the fights in the show had crossed the lines sometimes. Starting from conflicts for ration to making strong accusations against each other, the viewers have already seen a lot.

For the first time, the show had a blast on host Mohanlal's birthday. From a memorable cake-cutting ceremony on stage to the special dedications by housemates to the host; the episode was indeed colorful.

Ulaga Nayakan Kamal Haasan made a dashing entry to the show recently. The actor who enteretd the show for the promotion of his new release 'Vikram' had a candid interaction with the inmates. The housemates' dance performance on his recent viral song left the actor awed.

Contestant Robin Radhakrishnan got expelled from the show after reportedly assaulting inmate Riyas Salim. Robin, during the weekly task, tried to snatch Riyas' magic bottle and ran into the bathroom. Everyone rushed to the washroom but Robin was adamant about not leaving the washroom. After a while, Robin came out of the toilet and Riyas tried to search for him. Agitated by Riyas' act, Robin hit the former on his face. After the incident, Robin was sent into the secret room. In the weekend episode, host Mohanlal declared that Robin is not fit to continue the game.

Jasmine Moosa walked out from the show midway stating that she doesn't want to continue in the game. In the recent episode, she told Bigg Boss that she is physically and mentally tired hence she doesn't want to continue in the game.
