Although he has acted as a lead hero in movies like 'Aane Pataki', 'Sapno ki Raani', 'Ellide illi Tanka', Srujan earned fame as 'Talking star' for his stints as a host in Majaa Talkies.

During the initial days of his career, Akul had featured in a movie titled 'Athmiya' as a lead actor. He has also made his appearance felt in movies like Milana, Krazystar, and many more. However, Akul turned out to be successful as a host on Kannada television. Season after season, Akul turned out to be one of the most sought-after anchors when it comes to hosting reality shows.
