Bigg Boss Kannada 9: From Deepika Das to Prashanth Sambargi, senior contestants talk about their second chance in the reality TV show

For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Kannada, the reality show has welcomed a few former contestants as seniors. Five former Bigg Boss Kannada contestants, Arun Sagar, Deepika Das, Divya Uruduga, Prashanth Sambargi, and Anupama Gowda, have entered the Bigg Boss house as seniors and they shared their thoughts about their second innings in the reality show during the grand premiere.

The former runner-up of Bigg Boss Kannada season one entered the Bigg Boss house after eight seasons. During the premiere of Bigg Boss Kannada season 9, Arun Sagar surprised everyone with his new look and makeover. He mentioned that his stint in Bigg Boss Kannada season one earned him much recognition. Having got a second chance to enter the reality show, Arun avered he wishes to lift the winner trophy this season. He also mentioned that he will yet again be at his entertainment best and is looking forward to his second journey inside the Bigg Boss house.

One of the finalists of Bigg Boss Kannada season 7, Deepika Das has won the hearts of many for her participation in the reality show. Having experienced the ups and downs during her tenure in Bigg Boss Kannada season 7, Deepika during the grand premiere mentioned that she would not shy away from sharing a rapport with her housemates and avered that she would love to mingle even more with them. Deepika also mentioned that she has no game plan in her mind and is ready to accept everything the way it comes.

Although Divya had acted in a serial, it was her participation in Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 that brought her close to the viewers. The actress even emerged as the second runner-up of season 8. About her second chance to enter the Bigg Boss house, the actress mentioned that it is all in the individual's hands to make the correct use of the opportunity that comes their way once again. Divya also mentioned that she is looking forward to her Bigg Boss Kannada season 9 journey as a senior.

Yet another former contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada season 8, Prashanth Sambargi's stint in the reality show can never be ignored. He was rebellious and tactful inside the Bigg Boss house and even made it to the top five contestants of the season. Considering the same, Prashanth averred that he will be a little sober this time inside the Bigg Boss house. However, he made it clear that he will raise his voice when the situation demands. Prashanth even added that he would not be entertaining any sweet talks inside the glasshouse.

Actress-turned-host Anupama Gowda is a former Bigg Boss Kannada season 5 contestant to enter the new season. During the grand premiere, Anupama mentioned that not everyone gets a second chance in life. She stated that she will make use of the second opportunity in a better way and prove who she really is in real life. Anupama even gave a hint that the viewers will be able to see Anupama evolved as a strong woman compared to her stint in season 5 of the reality show.
