Just when the housemates were elated upon learning the news of the 'Family week', Bigg Boss introduced a shocking twist that stood like a barrier to the contestants. Bigg Boss installed a battery meter inside the house that decided the time constraint of how long the family member could stay inside the Bigg Boss house. The battery meter keeps losing its power whenever a contestant committed a mistake.

While Divya Uruduga got an opportunity to spend some quality time with her mother inside the Bigg Boss house, little did she know that she unknowingly made a mistake. The actress revealed the time constraint. While conversing with her housemates, Divya opened up about the details regarding the battery meter and mentioned the alert buzzer. As Divya violated a rule, it eventually led to the battery meter losing 10 percent of its power.

It was indeed an embarrassing moment for both Divya and Deepika as they mistook Rakesh's mother for Arun Sagar's wife Meera unknowingly. The two girls, who were sitting near the main entrance, welcomed Rakesh's mother assuming that she is Arun Sagar's wife as the entire house was expecting the latter's wife's entry first. An elated Rupesh bent down and touched his wife's feet as a sweet gesture of showing his love and gratitude towards her. Having spent an ample amount of time with his father inside the Bigg Boss house, Rupesh Shetty hugged his daddy dearest just before he could exit the house through the confession room. He gave his regards to his daddy dearest and also took his blessings. Having bid an emotional adieu to his father, Rupesh Shetty jostled around the Bigg Boss house and revealed to his housemates that it was the first time he hugged his father in his life so far. Having said that, he lauded his father and said "I love you Appa, I love you, I love you (sic)”

The family members of the contestants who entered the Bigg Boss house were asked to exit via the confession room.
