Bharti Vishnuvardha to Vinya Prasad: Veteran actors who made their TV comebacks in 2019

2019 has been a treat for telly viewers as they got to witness some of the finest actors of the Kannada entertainment industry making their much anticipated comeback on the small screen

Bharathi is one of the most popular actresses of the Kannada film industry. The actress had acted in serials like Bhagyavantaru and Janani earlier. In 2019, she made her comeback with the daily soap 'Sevanthi'.

Known for her dynamic performance as ‘Shakuntala Desai’ in the popular daily soap 'Amruthavarshini', Hema made her comeback on Kannada television with recently launched show 'Nayaki'.

After a long break, Pavitra Lokesh made her TV comeback with the daily show 'Aramanegili' as 'Meenakshamma', who belongs to a rich family in the village. Unfortunately, Pavitra bid adieu to the show very soon.

The actress-turned-politician is all set to make her comeback to the small screen with the upcoming daily show 'Aarthigobba Keerthigobba', which is scheduled to premiere on December 23.

Known for her exceptional performances, Vinya Prasad made a grand comeback to TV as 'Akhilandeshwari' in the daily soap 'Paaru'.

Padmaja made her TV comeback with the show 'Aramanegili' as she replaced Pavitra Lokesh as 'Meenakshamma'.

Having played the lead in over 100 films, Bhavya had also acted in the daily soap 'Durga'. However, she made her television comeback with 'Ishta Devate' as the protagonist's mother.

S Narayan has directed a few successful daily soaps in the past. However, he recently made his comeback to television with Paaru wherein he plays a prominent role.
