Vijayendra Kumeria reveals his most embarrassing moment in life
Vijayendra Kumeria may be very comfortable facing the camera today but there was a time when he actually froze on stage.
Recently in a candid chat, the actor, known for shows like Udaan, Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel and currently Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, narrated this incident among others from his childhood.
"I was in the 3rd or 4th standard. I remember I was very keen to be a part of the dance performance in the annual day function.
But on the final day, on stage, seeing the audience, I literally froze,” he recounts.
That was the most embarrassing thing at that age, he says. "I felt like hell and didn’t want to face my friends and teachers. It may seem like a small thing now, but for kids even a small thing like that can be very embarrassing," he adds.
Talking about his childhood, Vijayendra says he was a happy and naughty kid, but very respectful towards elders and was also good in academics. His parents have always been supportive of him. "They never forced things on us, but at the same time they raised us with a lot of discipline," he shares.
He was his teacher's favourite, so much so that once he even saved his friends from getting punished.
"My friends hadn’t done their homework and were asked to get out of the class. I had done my homework but still I got up and said I haven't and the teacher didn’t want me to get punished and thus, did not punish my friends too," he says.

While growing up Vijayendra loved playing basketball, table tennis and cricket with his friends. Once he grew up, biking became a passion. He says, "Once we got our two wheeler license, we used to sneak out at night during night studies to take bike rides."
About his career choices he says, "When I completed my 10th boards, I seriously started thinking about what I wanted to do. I thought of being a chartered accountant, but when I was in college I realised that I was not cut out for an office job. I wanted to do something creative and look where I ended up," smiles Vijayendra.
