Ashneer Grover talking about his regret of rejecting the ‘glass ka mask’ idea on Shark Tank India has taken over the internet. It was one of all the pitches that made the entrepreneur lose his cool on the pitcher. However, this wasn’t the only moment when Ashneer got angry on a participant because of their startup ideas. There were others too. Moreover, his vexed reaction at all these moments and his ‘one liners’ have led to a hilarious meme fest on social media. Ashneer lost his calm when Rohit Warrier pitched his Sippline Drinking Shields aka ‘glass ka mask’. After the pitcher was done with his presentation, Ashneer reacted, “Bhai kya kar raha hai yaar tu? Mazak hai kya? Aap bahut zyada pite ho kya?” He also said, “Ye pehla aur aakhri product bhi hai. Aisa product koi banane ki koshish bhi nahi karega.” Going on about it, Ashneer added, “Isse wahiyat product naa maine zindagi mein kabhi dekha hai naa mai dekhna chahta hoon. Mereko bhagwaan utha le itna ganda product hai ye.” This is the product and business that Ashneer regrets not investing in, as he disclosed in conversation with Rohan Joshi and Sahil Shah. However, Ashneer stated his reason behind the regret as, “For the loss of entertainment in my life yes. Main soch raha hoon, agar main isko galti se bolta main tere mein invest kar raha hoon, tu 5 aur achi cheezein bana ke la, main toh roz haas haas ke pagal toh jata ki bhai ye toh live entertainment chal raha hai mera, not otherwise.”

Ashneer was angered by a pitcher who specified that he would want Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta to provide funding to his company. In a burst of rage, he told the contestant to get investment from his preferred panellists only and called himself out of the pitch. While other sharks tried to make him understand the pitcher’s point of view, Ashneer said, “Yeh sab doglapan hai. Main tera doglapan utarta hu.”

Ashneer tried to understand a pitcher’s business model and the problem he is facing behind it. However, he didn’t seem too convinced by the idea and told the contestant that he won’t be able to do a business. “Apni problem hi nahi solve kar paa raha hai tu dusro ki problems kya solve karega...Bhai tu pehle naukri dhundh. Tereko samajhna padega ki dhandha hota kaise hai,” said the entrepreneur.

When Ashneer didn’t agree with a pitcher’s idea he told him that he is wasting his valuable degree from Germany. “Kya bana raha hai tu ye? Nehru Place ki patri pe milta hai ye ₹15 ka. Tune kisi ki seat barbad kari hai Germany ki University pe. Tu apni degree waste kar raha hai yaha pe. Apni Zindagi barbaad kar raha hai,” told Ashneer to the contestant.

Ashneer left everyone in a state of shock with his reaction to the designer pitchers’ business model. As the pitchers represented their bag designs and asked for funding from the sharks, Ashneer told them it looks like their designs are a mix of Delhi roadside vendors. Ashneer said, “Ye aadha design mujhe Janpath ka lag raha hai. Aadha Rajouri ho gaya. Thoda sa Sarojini utha lo. Thoda GK ho gaya. Aapne 4 patriwalo se utha ke ye saman rakh diya…Koi Sarojini Nagar wale Pappu bhaiya ka naam laga do tab bhi bik jayega.”

There was a pitch that attracted most of the sharks on the show. However, not convinced with their whole business model, Ashneer told the group of three entrepreneurs, “Ab mai bolta hoon taaki tum chane ki jhaad pe mat chadh jao ek offer ke baad - tu band kar de! Tum sab apni zindagi barbad kar rahe ho... Mera khoon khaul raha hai ki tumne 3 degreeya waste ki hui hai.”

A female entrepreneur represented her idea of convertible fashion in front of the sharks. While all the female sharks were quite impressed with the idea, Ashneer wasn’t. He told the pitcher, “Bahut hi ganda fashion hai ye, mere yaha to koi nahi pehnega. Merko lagta hai aap band kar do.. Aap kyu apna time waste kar rahe ho?”
