Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan is back on the small screen due to the lockdown. While the show's main characters - Ram, Sita, Lakshman - are talked about the most, there's one actor, who has caught the eye of the audience this time.

His name is Aslam Khan. The talented actor has played not one but several roles in Ramayan, a show based on Hindu mythology.

It is his son Zaigam Khan (as he has mentioned in his tweet), who got everyone's attention to it. He tweeted, "A very proud moment for me right now and thanks for airing the #RamayanOnDDNational as my father Sir Aslam Khan has been a part of a major supporting role. A very thanks to all the #Ramayan team."

Aslam Khan's popularity has risen on social media due to the rerun of the show. While some are hailing him as Kamal Haasan, others are calling him multi-talented KL Rahul.

Khan has played several roles in the show, which is over three decades old. He has been seen as a rakshas, rishi muni, Samudra Devta to name a few.

Aslam Khan has not only played multiple characters in Ramayan, but also featured in Ramanand Sagar's Krishna, where he played a female demon.

Not only Ramayan and Krishna, Aslam has played several roles even in 'Alif Laila'. From a robber to a jinn, he has essayed them all in different stories of the show.
