The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Rani Mukerji reveals daughter Adira scolds her; gives Aditya Chopra a perfect score in romance
The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4 kick-started on a grand note with global icon, Priyanka Chopra gracing the show as the first guest. Since then the makers have been delivering entertaining episodes one after the other. The show has so far witnessed some of the biggest names from the Bollywood and cricket industries, who have appeared as guests. This week, Kapil Sharma and his team welcomed Rani Mukerji to the show, where she arrived to promote her upcoming film, Mardaani 3.
During the episode, Rani interacted with the studio audience and one of the fans of the actress spoke about how he and his son are scared of his wife. He shared that whenever his son makes a mistake, he saves him from his mother, and when he does something wrong, his son comes to his rescue. The fan asked Rani who, between Aditya Chopra and her, is the stricter parent. The actress shared that it is their daughter Adira who scolds her. She said, “Meri beti Adira mujhe daanti hai.”
In the episode, Rani also talked about her performance in the National Award-winning film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. When Kapil asked her about her inspiration for the film, Rani shared that she drew inspiration from her mother's behaviour and described her as a Bengali tigress.
During a conversation Archana quizzed Rani about her relationship with filmmaker husband Aditya Chopra. She requested that she rate him as a romantic partner. Rani gave him a perfect perfect score of 15 out of 10.
Kapil asked Rani about her love story with Aditya Chopra. The host said that Aditya Chopra taught half a generation how to romance. He asked Rani that when Aditya and she fell in love, how did he propose to her. Responding to Kapil, Rani says, "Nahi, woh sab cheezein TV ke liye thodi na hai." Kapil came up with a hilarious comeback and said, "Main toh saari pooch bhi nahi raha tha, joh joh TV par bata sakte hain wohi pooch raha tha." Hearing this Rani bursts out laughing..
Host Kapil Sharma tried his best to get the actress to reveal some personal stories about her husband, Aditya Chopra, and how he proposed to her, but Rani dodged the question, saying that it was not for television.
