Tanya Mittal gets trolled over her ‘I want to wear western clothes’ remark; netizens say, “Jo character pakda hua hai..”
Tanya Mittal has been surrounded by news and controversies ever since she joined Bigg Boss 19. While the show has come to an end, fans have continued to enjoy updates from her personal and professional life. She recently took to her X handle and shared her wish to wear western clothes. However, netizens trolled her over this remark.
Tanya expressed her wish to wear western clothes but said she is unable to do so because of what people might think of her. Soon after she made this tweet, it surfaced on the internet, with many reacting to it. While some netizens bashed her over the remark, fans urged her to wear whatever makes her comfortable.
The tweet read, “I want to wear western clothes—shorts, skirts, dresses. Par kya yeh zalim duniya mujhe apni soch ke hisaab se jeene degi?” followed by laughing emojis. Another user said, “Pehno pehle jaisa mana kaun kar raha? Bas pehenne ke baad mat bolo ki kabhi nahi pehna. Tab phir se troll karegi. Khud jhooth bolte ho troll hone ke liye, then sympathy jaap shuru. Pehle kand karo → jhooth bolo → trolling se fame lo → sympathy card pheko.”
One more user wrote, “Not acceptable… only wear saree and jo character pakda hua hai… please stick to it.” Another commented, “Jo pehnna hai pehno bas camera band karke pehno.”
However, some fans even came out in her support. One wrote, “I don’t know why, but it truly means so much to me to see you wear it. Not because of trends or opinions, but because it feels like you. The world will always have something to say, but your happiness should always be louder than their voices.”
Another fan said, “It’s your body, your life. Only you get to make decisions for you. Do whatever you want to do. You’ve got only one life. Don’t waste that on what others will think. Do whatever makes you happy.”
On the work front, Tanya was last seen on the reality show Bigg Boss 19.
