Shrenu Parikh's grand engagement and sangeet ceremony, Bride-to-be performs a dreamy dance with beau Akshay Mhatre; BFFs Surbhi Chandna and Mansi Srivastava share pics

Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre are all set to tie the knot today (December 21), the duo has been quite busy with their pre-wedding festivals and rituals. Yesterday, (December 20) Shrenu and Akshay had their haldi and engagement ceremony. BFFs Surbhi Chandna and Mansi Srivastava took to their Instagram handles to share glimpses of Shrenu and Akshay's dance performance at the engagement ceremony. The wedding is happening in Shrenu's home town Vadodara with her friends and family.

Shrenu was dressed in a purple heavy lehenga while Akshay wore a black and white tuxedo. The duo left everyone lovestruck with their performance. They also had a movie going on in the background which shared their love story and the most magical moments from their wedding ceremonies and dates.



Apart from Shrenu and Akshay's performance, her bffs also had a special dance performance with the groom while her mother had an emotional performance leaving everyone teary-eyed. Shrenu also shared glimpses of their after party where her friends and cousins were singing their hearts out and dancing in the room together.

Earlier, Shrenu arrived at her haldi function on a scooty, with groom Akshay Mhatre in the backseat. She wore a lovely nauvari saree, while Akshay wore a green kurta pyjama with a dupatta around his neck. Shrenu looked stunning in the nauvari, and the couple was spotted matching in green outfits.

The haldi ceremony was performed by friends and family members of the couple, who can be seen applying haldi to Akshay and Shrenu. Shrenu is seen in one of the videos sitting in a large tray filled with flowers while everyone applies haldi to her.




Shrenu and Akshay are set to have a multi-cultural wedding blending the Gujarati and Maharashtrian cultures together. While her first two functions were all gujju way, she went for the authentic nauvari for her haldi ceremony.
