Shehnaaz Gill opens up about marriage for the first time; says, 'I don't believe in shaadi now, I am working so I don't have to beg for money in future'

Shehnaaz hosted Bhuvan Bam on her show 'Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill' where they talked about different aspects of their life as creative artists. In a freewheeling chat, they opened up about struggles in their work life, their views on love and marriage, and much more. Interestingly, Bhuvan revealed he is a teetotaller which made Shehnaaz claim she doesn't drink either.

Bhuvan reveals he has been in a relationship for 15 years, Shehnaaz says, 'Humein kyun nahi milta koi aisa'

Bhuvan talked about the initial days of his journey leading Shehnaaz to ask him about his marriage. He revealed he has been in a relationship with someone for 15 years. Shehnaaz is surprised and asked if he is seriously crazy. It made Bhuvan laugh out loud. Shehnaaz asked him if he'd transfer his YT channel and all to her. He replied, "Sab kuch uske naam hi hai." The actress cried, "Humein kyun nahi milta koi aisa." He told her, "Jald (Soon)." This made her feel better.

Bhuvan talks about maturing as an artist, Shehnaaz shares she tends to get abusive with friends jokingly

Shehnaaz asked Bhuvan to say something that would make the episode viral. Bhuvan revealed it took a lot of time for him to get to a stage where his content went viral. She told him she feels it could be because of the abusive language which he usually beeps. Bhuvan said the number of beeps have gone down as he has matured as an artist. The two talked about being abusive with friends. Shehnaaz shared she doesn't use such language on YT as there's family audience too and there are others who get inspired by them. Bhuvan told her that it's the 'bhav' (emotion) that should matter more than 'bhasha' (language). Bhuvan explained he doesn't make jokes on other people but his own people so audiences don't find it offensive.

Bhuvan claims he is a teetotaller, Shehnaaz says she doesn't drink but knows how to pretend

hehnaaz did a cheers in between their chat with the drinks they had on set. While she took a sip, Bhuvan did not. She told him sipping the drink is the first thing people do after saying cheers. He revealed he doesn't drink. Shehnaaz laughed and said that she doesn't either but it's her job as an actress to know everything. She told him to do so out of respect. Bhuvan wondered if she is lying or speaking the truth about drinking.

Shehnaaz on why she started her YouTube channel

Shehnaaz said she started her YT channel on the insistence of her brother. He told Shehnaaz that she should have something that will assure her money for a lifetime. She said, "Mein ladki hun. Kyunki yeh male-oriented world hai toh ladkiyon ko itni importance nahi milti. Mein chahongi ki mai dilaoon ladkiyon ko yeh haq (I am a girl, this is a male-oriented world where girls don't get that much importance but she wants them to get it with her help)." Bhuvan told her that she is torch-bearer for others.

Shehnaaz doesn't believe in marriage, wants to be financially self-sufficient

Shehnaaz added, "Life mein tumhe nahi pata na tumhara future kya hai. You should be prepared for everything. Abhi mere paas hain kuch cheezein karne ke liye, mein kar rahi hun. Aage jaake I will try my best to keep working. But if I am not able to get work, I should have enough savings so I don't have to beg others for money in future. Uss chakkar mein mujhe shaadi na kar leni padhe. Mujhe shaadi vagerah mein believe nahi hai abhi. Mujhe abhi bahot aage jaana hai life mein. But mujhe hai ki mein apni saving rakhun. Back to talking about alcohol

Shehnaaz asked Bhuvan about his Valentine's Day plan and if he will keep 'daaru (alcohol)' at his dinner date with his girlfriend at their place. He told her again he doesn't drink. Shehnaaz asked him not to lie but Bhuvan revealed a story that led him to never touch alcohol. Shehnaaz said one should not drink, it's a bad habit. Bhuvan corrected her by saying that one should drink in limit. Shehnaaz told him she finds him emotional, and that it will make him the best actor. Bhuvan said that some people are emotionless and he doesn't understand them. He added, "Emotional hona bahot zaruri hai." Shehnaaz joked, "Rone se insaan halka ho jaata hai."

Shehnaaz reveals she has bought a new house

Shehnaaz revealed in the episode that she has bought a new home but has strict rules. She said, "Mene naya ghar liya hai, aap aana kabhi mere ghar pe...par mere rules hain. Before sleeping on bed, there should be no hair oil. And one has to take a shower. Washroom nahi jaana." She added she doesn't like people dirtying it up. She likes to keep it clean.
