Shark Tank India 2's Peyush Bansal recalls a heart-wrenching story: 'My father decided to give his extra oxygen cylinder during COVID, risking his life'

Peyush Bansal shared some intriguing experiences from his personal life and even shared interesting secrets and bonds from the show Shark Tank India. Check out what he has to share about his personal and professional life:

I feel like sitting at home and chilling

If I get a break then I feel like sitting at home and chilling. Talk with the family and watch TV for some time. And vacations from time to time are a perfect way to balance work life and personal life.

Anupam wanted to become an actor

Aman Gupta is a party animal so he would be best in Vegas, Namita Thapar loves to be treated as a queen so she would go to London. Anupam Mittal wanted to become an actor so for him, Bollywood and Mumbai are best. Considering how fitness enthusiast Vineeta Singh is she should go to the Netherlands while Amit Jain is best suited for Jaipur only.

I used to get angry quite often

It isn't like I don't get angry, I also lose my calm. Earlier, I used to get angry quite often. Now, I have begun to control my temper. I used to get angry when someone wouldn't treat the customers right in my company but now the coordination between language and temper is in harmony. I have realized that I can handle those situations politely and calmly as well.

5/8

I often sleep during the pitches

I often end up sleeping during the pitches in the Shark Tank episodes then the crew screams from behind, 'Peyush bhai coffee, coffee' and I wake up. Namita looks sophisticated, an American return but she is more desi. She can dance to all those Bollywood songs and do all the desi stuff.

Aman and I are an unbeatable combo

Aman is the one that I get along well with. We both live close by in Delhi so we often meet each other there too. We also have maximum deals together. We have an unbeatable combo as Sharks in the show.

Bill Gates was already working for a cause

When I was doing an internship at Microsoft in 2006. Bill Gates hosted a dinner for all the interns. I found him a normal person and realised that despite being a millionaire he is such a simple man. He had already begun working on the Bill and Melinda Gates project. He was working on such a noble project of eradicating deadly diseases. This inspired me the most about him.

My father risked his life and decided to give backup oxygen to the needy

There were many incidents in my life that I would like to keep personal. However, I have witnessed that in life God doesn't give everything to everyone. Even in my family, such incidents have happened. When the corona delta was at its peak in recent times. My father was hospitalized for almost 40-45 days. In Delhi, oxygen was scarce and despite giving crores of rupees getting a bed in the hospitals was also difficult. In such times, the oxygen supply was less in the hospital and even my father's oxygen level was less so we kept a backup oxygen cylinder for him. In the hospital, the oxygen was over and we got a call saying that they need oxygen or the person will die.

It was a major dilemma on whom should I choose but my father told me that he is able to breathe if he sleeps on his stomach so we gave the oxygen cylinder. I was very scared and worried for 24 hours about how my father would manage and I witnessed 20-25 deaths in that hour around me in the hospital. I might not have been able to take this call but my father's decision made me feel stronger. He risked his life to save others.
