From Shark Tank India 2 to Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: Return of reality shows to look forward to

Many reality shows are all set for new seasons and it has definitely grabbed a lot of eyeballs. Right from Shark Tank India 2 to Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 to Koffee with Karan 7 to Bigg Boss 16, big and popular reality shows are all set to return and here, let’s take a look at them.

After a massive season premiere success, Shark Tank India is all set to comeback with a second season. The makers announced the second season on weekend by sharing that the registration lines are open for upcoming and budding entrepreneurs. Ardent fans and viewers have gone berserk coming to know about the second season. All the Sharks have now become a household name with people taking special interest in their personal lives as well. Interest has heightened with the S2 announcement.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will soon start shooting for the new season of Koffee With Karan season 7. According to reports, B-town’s most talked about couple and newlyweds – Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be his first guests. Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani, Siddharth Malhotra, Neetu Singh, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Siddhant Chaturvedi are among the guest list. The show will reportedly go on floors in mid-May and will make a comeback on OTT.

Action filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to return with the adventure based reality show – Khatron Ke Khiladi. Names for the 12th season are also doing the rounds. Reportedly Munawar Faruqui, Faisal Shaikh, Chetna Pande, Sriti Jha, Pratik Sehajpal and many other popular names have been roped in this time. Last year, the shoot took place in South Africa and Arjun Bijlani had lifted the trophy.

ETimes TV has exclusively learnt that the show is all set to return after a break of 6 long years with its 10th season. The show aired its 9th season in 2016 and had Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ganesh Hegde as the judges. Sources close to the show informed us that Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi fame Erica Fernandes and Adaa Khan have been approached for the upcoming season and if all goes well the two actresses will be seen showcasing their dancing skills on the show. Both the actresses are currently not busy with any longer commitments. Many other celebrities from different walks of life are expected to participate.

After getting a positive response to its debut season, Bigg Boss OTT will return with a second season. Karan Johar grabbed all the eyeballs as he took the host’s chair in the digital version. The digital version of the controversial reality show was full of drama, fights and lots of action. Divya Agarwal lifted the trophy last year.

After Tejasswi Prakash’s win last year, the controversial reality show will return once again for season 16. Though there have been no tentative names yet, it will air in the second half of the year once BB OTT 2 wraps up. Salman Khan is also expected to return as the host. Last year, the season had a jungle theme. This year, it will be interesting to see what theme the makers come up with.

Popular dance reality show, Dance India Dance Super Moms Season 3 will go on air soon. Remo D’Souza and Geeta Kapur are expected to take the judges’ chairs. The second season of the show was held in 2015.

Bollywood singer Mika Singh is all set to look for his bride on a reality show. Mika is quite excited about the show and shared, “I will find that special someone to celebrate every moment with. You will see it all unfold in my new show ‘Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti.’” Popular Bollywood singer Shaan will be seen hosting the show. With this show, Shaan is returning to host a reality show after a gap of 14 years. Speaking about his bond with Mika, Shaan said, “I could never say no to such an opportunity, to be a vital part of my brother's happily ever after. I'm filled with joy as I'll be a part of this journey. Jahan mera yaar will finally be in a pursuit to find his best life companion.”

Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to return on TV with its 14th season. The makers and the host have announced the show’s comeback with a new season in a promo out on social media in April this year. Kaun Banega Crorepati has been airing on TV since 2000. Last year, the show celebrated the milestone of 1000 episodes with host Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda onboard.
