Sanjivani: Here's how the cast looks like now

Sanjivani was one of the most popular and loved shows on Indian television. The show aired its first episode in 2002 and it successfully ran for three years. Later, the makers of the show brought in a sequel - Dill Mill Gaye. The story of Sanjivani was based on four medical interns and their passion for their job. The show featured Gurdeep Kohli, Gaurav Chanana, Mihir Mishra, Sanjeet Bedi in lead roles. The show went off the air in 2005. Now there are reports that the makers of the show are all set to launch Sanjivani 2 with Ishqbaaz cast Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna in the lead. Actress Gurdeep Kohli played the main protagonist in Sanjivani. She essayed the role of Dr. Juhi Singh, Sanjivani's CMO's wife. Gurdeep started her career as a model but soon got recognized for her performance in her debut show. The actress fell in love with her co-star Arjun Punj and the couple tied the knot in 2006. Gurdeep was last seen in Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali. Gurdeep and Arjun participated in Nach Baliye season 2. She is currently doing a web series. (Photo - Instagram)

Actress Shilpa Shinde, who won Bigg Boss season 11, played the role of a nurse Chitra in Sanjivani show. Shilpa's character Chitra in Sanjivani was in love with Dr. Omi. Actor Arjun Punj, husband of Gurdeep Kohli essayed the role of Dr. Aman in the show. Dr. Aman was Juhi's (Gurdeep) childhood, friend. He played the antagonist on the show. After Sanjivani, Arjun was seen in shows including Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Saathii Re, Arjun, and Diya Aur Baati Hum. Veteran actor, Sanjeet Bedi, who essayed the role of Omi, a protagonist in the show who was diagnosed with HIV. Sanjeet made his debut with Maan show and was popular among viewers.
