Neil Bhatt on doing action scenes in Mr and Mrs Parshuram; says 'My background in action and martial arts helped me perform all the stunts myself'
Mr and Mrs Parshuram is a gripping family drama which is full of suspense and intrigue. The recently released promo shows Neil Bhatt's character living two different lives. In the show, Neil plays two very different roles: Shivprasad, a loving and devoted husband, and Parshuram, a secret spy.
The actor talked about playing two very different characters and what it was like to bring them to life.
Neil Bhatt spoke about his character and overall experience and also shared his excitement. He said, “What excited me most about this show was the beautiful duality of Shiv Prasad, within whom Parshuram resides. While shooting the promo, we discussed approaching the character as someone who is Ram inside the house calm, patient, and devoted and Parshuram outside strong, fearless, and decisive. That thought became the foundation of my performance.”
Sharing about Shiv Prasad, Neil said, “Shiv Prasad is a complete family man. His family is his Chardham, and he bows only before his wife and children. No matter what happens, there is never doubt in his love or loyalty, and portraying that emotional depth made me truly fall in love with the character.”
Further about Parshuram, he said, “Parshuram, on the other hand, is a fearless spy. My background in action and martial arts helped me perform all the stunts myself, which made the experience even more rewarding.”
“I wouldn’t call it challenging, it was enticing. Playing two diametrically opposite personalities in one role is what makes this journey exciting, and I’m thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.” he added.
On the professional front, Neil is known for his roles in shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Megha Barsenge, Diya Aur Baati Hum. His portrayal of Inspector Virat in Ghum was loved and enjoyed by the fans. The show performed exceptionally well on the TRP charts and held the number one position for several weeks. Apart from fiction, the actor has also done reality shows like Smart Jodi and Bigg Boss 17.
