Shamsher Singh passed away in Delhi today (October 9).

Shamsher
Singh was suffering from jaundice for the past one month and was admitted to Vedanta hospital in Delhi. He passed away today morning.

Shamsher has been in the industry for quite a long time now and he along with brother
Daler Mehndi
have been instrumental in making the Bhangra music popular worldwide. He was also part of Daler Mehndi’s troupe for all their stage shows. Shamsher has also written many songs and is known for producing records.
The musician was recently seen as one of the jury members on singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs.
Ever since the tragic news broke out, his friends and well wishers from the TV industry are paying their condolences.
