'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' 4th June written updates: Rio earns respect as Tulsi hands Nandini the house keys
In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Parth sees a group of men bothering Vaishnavi. He rushes to help her but ends up getting beaten by them. Rio then comes out of his car and saves Parth by fighting off the goons. After saving him, Rio also punches Parth and tells him to protect Vaishnavi but he gets upset with his teasing comments.

Tulsi's retirement plans

Meanwhile, Tulsi talks about her plans to step back and give the power of attorney to either Parth or Rio. Hemant questions whether it is wise to give complete power to just one person. Tulsi assures him that the family will still watch over the business together.

Parth's anger over Rio

When Parth comes home injured, the family becomes worried. Tulsi thanks Rio for saving him. However, Parth gets upset when Rio talks about protecting Vaishnavi and calls Karan his father. He firmly tells Rio not to call Karan his dad.

Another clash between Tulsi and Nandini

Later, Tulsi and Nandini find themselves disagreeing about Rio again. With Damini also present, Tulsi gathers the family and announces it is time to pass responsibilities to the next generation. She brings out the household keys and asks either Damini or Nandini to take charge.
Hemant's wife refuses to accept the responsibility. Tulsi says she will not force her decision and leaves the choice to them.

Keys given to Nandini

Both Damini and Nandini think Damini should take the keys because she is the elder daughter-in-law. However, when neither can decide, Tulsi steps in. She assigns Damini the responsibility of managing the finances while Nandini will handle the day-to-day work of the household. Tulsi then gives the keys to Nandini, leaving Damini heartbroken.

Damini's concerns about her son

Tulsi asks Damini if she is upset with her decision. Damini asks Tulsi not to justify her choice. Instead, she asks Tulsi to think about who will make the final decisions in the future. She also expresses her concern for her son Nakul and Damini's worries about him, and Tulsi promises that Nakul will get equal rights and she will herself take care of his education and welfare.
