Rishabh
talks to Srishty on call and asks her not to be worried for
Preeta
as he shall take care of her. Srishty tells Rishabh that the video which Sherlyn has presented as proof could be a morphed one.
The
police
arrive outside Luthra house and ring the doorbell.
Karan goes to Preeta's room and
Sameer tries to hide
Baabi
. Everyone at the Luthra house are worried that they shall be charged for hiding a criminal in their house. Rishabh asks the family members to pretend that they hate Preeta when the police comes inside.
Rishabh opens the door and the police tells Rishabh that Preeta has run away from police custody. Everyone pretends to be shocked. The
inspector
tells Luthra family that someone informed him about Preeta hiding at Luthra house.

Rakhi tell the inspector that they have filed the complaint against Preeta therefore they would never help her run away from the police. Karan enters Preeta’s room from the window because she does not open the door.
The police says they shall search Luthra house for Preeta as it is their duty to take action because someone called to inform them about Preeta. Rishabh tells the inspector that he cannot search his house without permission, but the inspector shows him the search warrant and proceeds with the search.
Karan tells Preeta that the police has arrived at home and they both hide inside the bathroom. Sameer hides with Baabi behind a wardrobe. Rishabh politely asks Sherlyn to show the video that she has as a proof against Preeta. Rishabh tells Sherlyn that if she does not show her the video he will think that she is the one who wants to harm Preeta.
The police is about to open the door of the washroom where Preeta and Karan are hiding. Sameer texts Rishabh to come and save Preeta and Karan. Rishabh tells police that
Dadi
supports Preeta and she might have helped her. He asks inspector to check in Dadi’s room first.
Dadi and Kareena ask Rakhi to not overact in front of the police, or else the inspector shall doubt them. Dadi tells inspector that she has not helped Preeta to hide at Luthra house. Karan tells Sameer that they must hide Preeta and Baabi on the terrace. Karan, Preeta and Baabi are outside Dadi’s room while the inspector checks in the room. Dadi and Kareena distract the inspector but he suspects that someone was outside the room.
