Kaun Banega Crorepati: From Sushil Kumar to Jaskaran Singh; A look at the contestants who became Crorepatis in all the seasons of Amitabh Bachchan hosted show

Jaskaran Singh, 21, made history by being the first participant to win Rs one crore this season. Jaskaran Singh expressed his desire to become an IAS officer. Jaskaran told ETimes TV in an exclusive interview after his win, “I’ve been trying to be on KBC for the last four years and would always imagine how it would be when I will go on the show. Whenever someone won Rs 1 crore, I would put that moment on repeat and keep watching it, hoping that one day I would create it. Finally, my imagination came true.”

Kavita Chawla of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, reached the milestone of becoming the 14th season's single crorepati. Despite her fluency in the game, she was unable to answer the question about the jackpot value of Rs. 7.5 crore. Kavita said on the show that she had been preparing for KBC for the previous 20 years, and his son's books helped her study. Kavita has just completed Class XII, but she has made an effort to maintain her passion in reading and learning.

Himani Bundela of Agra, who correctly answered 15 questions and won a prize of Rs 1 crore, elected not to pursue the Rs 7 crore question. She was the show's first visually impaired crorepati in Season 13. Sahil Aditya Ahirwar, a Chhatarpur native from Madhya Pradesh and the son of a security guard, became the season's second crorepati. Geeta Singh Gaur, 53, a homemaker from Gwalior, was the season's third crorepati.

Nazia Nasim of Ranchi, Jharkhand, became season 12's first crorepati. Nazia, from Delhi, played an outstanding game and earned Rs one crore. Mohita Sharma, an IPS officer, made an intriguing discovery after earning one crore. Mohita Sharma said she feels herself lucky, not because she won Rs 1 crore in the show, but because she received two Maggi masala sachets in one package.

In Season 11, three candidates won Rs 1 crore, with Babita Tade being the only female. Babita Tade's personal story touched everyone's hearts. She prepared 'khichdi' for school children and earned Rs 1500 each month. Babita abandoned the game after being asked the Rs 7 crore question, yet she had the correct answer. Sanoj Raj became the first participant to earn Rs one crore. He wanted to be an IAS official back then. Ajeet Kumar, a Bihar resident who worked as a jail superintendent and station master for Indian Railways, became the third crorepati.

Binita Jain won the tenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and thereafter worked at a tutoring centre in Guwahati. She intended to use the winnings to provide a better life for her kid.

Anamika Majumdar was a social worker affiliated with an NGO. The competitor used the winning sum of one crore to advance the NGO.

The Narula brothers from Delhi, Achin and Sarthak, took the hot seat and won the Rs 7 crore reward. The brothers voluntarily contributed the entire amount to their mother's cancer treatment, demonstrating their familial commitment.

Firoz Fatima, the seventh season's first crorepati, abandoned her studies after her father's death and used the winnings to help her family's financial situation. Taj Mohammad Rangrez also received Rs. 1 crore for his knowledge. He used the money to pay for his daughter's partial vision impairment rehabilitation, purchase a home, and fund the weddings of two orphaned girls.

Sunmeet Kaur, who has a degree in fashion design, was limited in her professional options by her in-laws. However, following her spectacular victory in KBC, she pursued entrepreneurship and founded her own fashion house.

Sushil Kumar, a computer operator from Bihar, won Rs. 5 crore on KBC in 2011. He was the only contender to achieve this feat. Surprisingly, he then stated in an honest social media post that this life-changing event occurred during a rough era in his life. The unexpected fortune nearly resulted in a divorce from his wife, financial ruin, and a struggle with alcohol.

Rahat Taslim appeared on this quiz show in 2010 and made everyone proud by becoming the first female participant to win a crore in any of the previous seasons. Rahat was studying for her medical exam when she married and used the winnings to build a garment mall.

Season Three of Kaun Banega Crorepati did not produce a crorepati, whereas Brajesh Dubey was the lone crorepati on KBC 2. He was an engineer from Guna who won the television show's grand prize of Rs. 1 crore.

While Harshvardhan Nawathe was studying for the Civil Services exam, he received a surprise audition invitation for Kaun Banega Crorepati. He went on to become the quiz show's first crorepati and thereafter moved to the United Kingdom to pursue further studies. Later in life, he married and began a successful career with a major firm.
