Karanvir Bohra, Delnaaz Irani and Malaika Arora mourn Rajiv Kapoor’s death; pay tribute on social media

Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away today (February 9) after he reportedly suffered from a severe cardiac arrest. While the Kapoor family and whole of the Bollywood fraternity mourned the death of the actor and producer, a few TV celebs also took to their social media and grieved the loss.
Actor Karanvir Bohra took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Really sad to hear this...Rest in peace sir #RajivKapoor”

Delnaaz Irani also shared Rajiv Kapoor’s old picture and condolences to the family. She wrote, “So sad to hear about the demise of #RajivKapoor! My heartfelt condolences to the family! May he rest in peace”

TV reality show judge Malaika Arora took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of the actor in her stories, as she wrote, “RIP”

Meanwhile, Choti Sardarni actress Anita Raaj, who was good friends with Rajiv, broke down while talking about his demise. When contacted by ETimes TV, the actress said, “I am in shock. I really have no words to describe the pain. Apart from working together, I have known him when we were kids. I can’t believe he is no more. I used to speak to him often. While doing this show (Choti Sardarni), he used to love it and would tell me ‘Tinni you are doing such a wonderful job. I just can’t…”
For the unversed, Rajiv Kapoor, who was the youngest of all the brothers, passed away on February 9 afternoon at the age of 58. The Bollywood actor-producer was rushed to Inlaks hospital which was the nearest medical facility to their residence by brother Randhir Kapoor. Rajiv was reportedly declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
