Karan Veer Mehra ties the knot with Nidhi V Seth in a traditional ceremony

‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor Karan Veer Mehra married Nidhi V Seth in a traditional ceremony at a Delhi gurdwara on Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was an intimate affair with the presence of family members and friends. The actor looked dapper in a traditional sherwani and a pagdi. Nidhi chose to wear a subtle tone embroidered lehenga.

The actor had earlier shared with us that keeping in mind COVID safety norms, his wedding at his hometown Delhi will be an intimate affair with limited gathering. “We have invited only 30 guests for the shaadi, but we plan to hold a reception in Mumbai for our friends, who won’t be able to attend the wedding,” he told us a few days before the wedding.

Actor couple Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht were among the guests present at the wedding ceremony. The traditional ceremony will be followed by a dinner at a hotel in the city.

The actor's wedding rituals began with the mehendi function on Friday, January 22. Karan shared the pictures on social media and wrote: “The beginning of all beginnings , Mehndi with my ❤️ @nidhivseth .Thank you @alayabystage3 for dressing me up in style. #family #love.”

On finalizing Jan 24 as their wedding date, Nidhi had shared with us that “we had shortlisted a few dates, including one in December. However, we wanted 2020 out of our lives and hence, settled for January 2021. We checked online and found that January 24 was an auspicious date. I realised that I am not shooting on that day, and that was another reason we zeroed in on this date (laughs!).”
