Celebs took to their social media handles to mourn veteran actor Dilip Kumar's demise. The legendary Bollywood actor passed away today (July 7) owing to long-term illness. The actor was 98. Here are some rare pics of the actor with some of the TV celebs, who got an opportunity to meet him.

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is taken aback by the evergreen actor Dilip Kumar's death. Kapil Sharma, who had the opportunity to meet the legend in his lifetime, shared a picture with him and the actress-wife Saira Bano. Kapil Sharma posted the photograph and wrote, "#omshanti #ripdilipkumar ji #legend." The comedian looked quite young in the picture, which states that this meeting took place years ago.

Actress Shagufta Ali is deeply affected with the actor’s demise as she shared an extremely close bond with him. Talking about his demise, she told ETimes TV, “I am in such a shock. I was talking to Farida Dadi last night and I was telling her not to worry as everything will be fine. I told her everyone is praying for Dilip Saab. It is a personal loss for me and my mother (gets emotional). The things Yusuf Saab has done for us, is beyond comparison and nobody can do what he did for us. He was an angel for me and I have lost an angel from my life (cries).”

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, who is currently judging Dance Deewane 3, shared an image with the veteran actor. She wrote, “Every now & then some individuals come along who single-handedly alter the present & write history... One such legend was Dilip saab for the world of cinema. I was fortunate to have spent some time with him both on & off screen and I'll cherish those memories forever. Praying for the peace of his departed soul & my heartfelt condolence to the family. RIP”

Actor Rahil Azam opined, “Yusuf Saheb is an institution in himself, and nobody could have ever worked the way he has. Nobody could have crossed the bench mark he had set. And the kind of effortless and natural performances, we see today in webseries, he has done those same 60 years back! According to me, he is the 8th wonder of the world and he will always remain in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace!”

Shekhar Suman had visited the actor long back and posted this picture of meeting him. He shared his condolences on Twitter and wrote, “People die, institutions don't. Long live the king!”

Salman Khan, who hosts Bigg Boss on TV, had the opportunity to meet the actor on several occasions. He posted this picture on social media and wrote, “Best actor Indian cinema has ever seen and will ever see. Rip. DilipSaab.”

Urvashi didn’t post a picture with the actor but she did share how she got an opportunity to work with him closely and also he taught her Urdu. Urvashi wrote, “I have been very very fortunate enough to work with him so closely where he has practically sat down and taught me Urdu, I remember because Saira ji was attempting to be a producer and this goes back many many years ago in 1999.. and I was playing the main part in that project.. it was a beautiful show and we had shot the pilot episodes and it was an experience that I can’t ever forget where Yusuf uncle, Saira ji and Naseem Bano ji (Saira Ji’s mom) they all used to be on the set making sure everyone is taken care of properly .. it was an experience of a lifetime.”

Indraneel, who currently plays the role of Dev in TV show Imlie, shared this picture with Dilip Kumar that was clicked 30 years back. He wrote, "R.I.P. DILIP KUMAR SAHEB. The year was 1991. Exactly 30 years back I had the fortune of meeting the Legendary YUSUF SAAB and Saira ji along with my didi and niece."
