It's time Kapil Sharma should do away with these repetitive jokes on TKSS

The Kapil Sharma Show 2 began with a bang but of late it has seen a steep decline in its TRPs. It's now at the 11th spot on the list of shows that are most watched on the small screen. Since it's been a while we have been tracking the comedy show, we think the characters, the dialogues and the jokes are becoming quite repetitive and falling flat. Kapil needs to get creative even with the format of the show. Here's taking a look at jibes and things that the comedian show do away with...

There's not even a single episode that goes without Kapil criticizing Archana Puran Singh. She is seen in place of Navjot Singh Sidhu on the show. Whether it's her body weight or the type of clothes she wears, Kapil doesn't spare a chance to make fun of her. In a recent episode, Kapil joked that Shraddha Kapoor learnt cuss words from Archana Puran Singh. Even though the actress takes all the jokes sportingly, there are viewers who have objected to such derogatory comments in the past. It's not just Kapil but his team which includes Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek mock Archana frequently.

This is again a constant on the show. Kapil not only keeps threatening Archana that he'd get Navjot Singh Sidhu back on TKSS and replace her, but also keeps making fun of Sidhu's absence on the show. There have been times that Sidhu's political career has also been mocked at. While there are slim chances of him returning to the show, the jibes at him have become repetitive and must stop.

It is common to see Kapil mocking his female co-stars Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh and Archana Puran Singh for the same things. He had once told Archana she is a man trapped inside a woman's body. Sumona's height and lips are always made fun of and Bharti Singh's weight is also taken a jibe at. If there are no actresses, he makes his male co-stars cross dress and demeans them.

Kapil often makes fun of Chandan with the same jokes. The latter's often made to feel glad about getting lines to speak on stage. Chandan takes it sportingly but cracking the same joke repeatedly doesn't make it sound funny anymore. There was also a time when Chandan wasn't seen on the show. He had then told a fan that the makers were seemingly unhappy with his character and felt it had nothing more to offer.

It is great to take a joke or two on yourself sometimes, but Kapil's done it to death by mocking about his tweets to the PM and the exorbitant amount of tax that he pays. It even feels like he's boasting about how rich and big a star he is.

Even his jokes on his drunken act in the plane which caused a rift between him and Sunil have been used on the show a lot of times. Kapil, who went through a turbulent time after TKSS was shut, keeps joking about his hiatus and drinking.
