From a uniquely styled entrance to a cozy balcony for her parents, Nagma’s house beautifully blends modern aesthetics with personal touches. Let's come to our entrance. I was confused between peachish pink, navy blue and deep green like color. But then I was like, I'm more of that than pink. I also have my shoe rack here. Actually, there is another big shoe rack at the back. Here is my name plate. I don't want that normal name plate. I wanted something very unique.

First comes our dining area. And I was really excited for this space because I wanted this to be very aesthetic. If you look at my house, there are major things like flutes. I've put these flutes because I really wanted to. I had seen a lot of Pinterest images which I had. But my interior designers said, I should go for something different. It should be a different color. Black dining table with rust chairs.

My favorite is the wall unit because it's like curvy. I really like how it turned out because the designers had designed it in 3D and told me that they will put something like this here because I really wanted flutes and curves. This flexi ply comes from that. And it's like amazingly done, the finishing and everything. I'm so, so, so happy by the way it turned out. I wanted a wall unit so that I don't keep too many open things. I wanted to stuff all my mess.

Our living room is incomplete without the sofa. So I had a basic need for a sofa like I wanted a cloud sofa. I had seen a lot that it is viral. So I couldn't get it here. But we tried to remake it with a local sofa maker. It turned out pretty well. It's not exactly how I wanted. But it's still really nice. We have put memory foam. It has become very soft. But the thing is, this is not cat friendly. And when I gave it to make, at that time Pooki (her cat) was not with me. So now Pooki has come and made a mess of it. She has torn the sofa from several places. But I'm not complaining. It's her sofa, not mine. This is her house, not mine. And this table. I have always wanted such an amoeba-shaped table. This is a table made of mango wood.

There is also a powder room here. Powder room is basically a guest washroom you can say. Where you can wash your hands a lot. But here I have also made a WC. I think I had said this before. Because it is easier that sometimes a guest comes in an emergency. You don't have to go inside or do anything. So they can use this. I haven't done much on this. We just kept it basic for the guests.

My favorite part of the house is the balcony. It looks so beautiful in the evening. The sunset shots are so beautiful. But it looks so good at night too. I like this place a lot. And mainly I wanted this for my parents so that they can sit here in the afternoon or in the morning to enjoy their tea. Mainly my dad loves to read newspapers in the morning. He used to sit in a small balcony and read newspapers. But now he can sit here. And whenever I get up in the morning, he's here sipping his tea, reading newspapers and cookies besides him. It's just, you know, it feels so good to see all these things. When you're living and you see your parents enjoying this, I think that's the main thing.

The idea of the kitchen was very simple. Basically, I wanted it to be made according to my mom. Like whatever she wanted. Because I think she loves to cook. And our kitchen has always been a little small and not very aesthetic. So I thought this time that mom, as she likes and according to her convenience, whatever appliances she wants, I wanted to do it for her. And the kitchen is semi-modular.

So my mom and dad's room has the theme in muted rust color with white. And they were given a lot of options. They also wanted white, everyone in the house likes neutral. They like this color. My dad also wanted a white room like me. But we literally had to convince them to put some color. Otherwise, the whole house will look only beige and white. And this is such a beautiful color. It's like a brick type.
