Television shows have a very strong female antagonist, who gains equal screen presence as the main lead. Some of the iconic onscreen vamps have left their legacy behind. For instance, Sudha Chandran and Urvashi Dholakia are remembered for their characters Ramola Sikand and Komolika respectively. Their unique bindi, hair and saree style became popular too.
