Hina Khan losing her father to Tenali Rama actor Amit Mistry’s sudden demise; TV news headlines this week

The current times of the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases across India has created a sense of fear and worry for everyone. While the nation is dismayed with the situation, TV celebs have also had a tough time through the ongoing scenario in the past week. Many lives have been lost in the country and a few celebs lost their loved ones too. The previous week has been quite a disheartening one, with all the heart-wrenching news. Take a look:

Popular TV actor who starred in shows like Tenali Ram, Maddam Sir and was a part of the film industry too died of a heart attack on April 23. The news about his demise took the whole industry by shock. The news was confirmed by his manager Maharshi Desai who said, “I am in complete shock myself. He was all well and was at his home only. He didn’t even complain of any health issue. Post breakfast he felt an ache in his heart and it was a heart attack and his family couldn’t even take him to the hospital. It is a big loss for the entertainment industry to lose an actor like him and I will miss working with him.” Later, many TV celebs including Dilip Joshi, Karan V Grover, Arjun Bijlani, Tisca Chopra and others took to their social media handles and expressed their grief while paying condolences to the family.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Hina Khan lost her father on April 20. Her father passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. The actress who was very close to her father was in Kashmir for some work when the incident took place. Hina flew back to Mumbai that very night.

Actress Kamya Panjabi recently took to her Twitter handle and expressed her concern on the Health Infrastructure in India. Expressing her shock over the recent Nashik oxygen leak tragedy, she wrote, “It’s a shame that in 21stcentury a developing country like India lost 22 lives in a hospital due to interrupted Oxygen supply. Like really?? Covid gave us 1 yr then why did india not invest on healthcare infrastructure? @narendramodi @PMOIndia #indianhealthcareinfra #Covid2ndWave.”

Not just Hina Khan, many other TV celebs lost their loved ones in the past week. Popular actor Mukesh Khanna’s elder brother Satish Khanna, 84, passed away due to a heart attack.

Another popular actor Aman Verma lost his 79-year-old mother on April 18. He informed his fans and friends about her demise through a social media post.

Anupamaa actor, Ashish Mehrotra’s passed away. He took to his social media and informed everyone by posting some ‘happy pictures’ with his dad. “This is just how i want to keep you with me always papa,” he wrote.

All is well with Rakhi Sawant’s mother who just underwent cancer surgery. She had been undergoing cancer treatment ever since Rakhi exited Bigg Boss 14. The operation successfully got completed on April 19. Later, when spotted outside the hospital, the actress expressed her joy on the same. She thanked the doctors for their effort. Rakhi also thanked Salman and Sohail Khan for helping her get through the tough phase.

The Kapil Sharma Show fame, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale announced their engagement on social media. The couple who previously denied their dating rumours at various times, are all set to get married on April 26 in Ludhiana. They made it official and dropped some gorgeous love-filled pictures, probably from their pre-wedding shoot.
